A team from SALCET will be travelling to El Salvador on 20th January and then onto Colombia on 2nd February until 10th February.
The team: Chris Jagger, Maggie Jagger, Bobbie Ranger and Will Burgess. They will be joined by Dan Eley and John Barzallo from DEF in Colombia.
In El Salvador, they will be working with communities in San Carlos and Estancia; and with Compassion projects.
In Colombia, they will be working with Compassion projects and partner projects DEF; FEDUT and Esperanza Vivir.
The itinerary:
Tues 20th Jan: 30 hour day travelling to El Salvador
Wed 21st: arrival in San Salvador, acclimatisation
Thurs 22nd: clinic at Compassion project
Fri 23rd: clinic at Compassion project at San Carlos
Sat 24th: visit to and clinic at San Carlos
Sun 25th : church and rest day
Mon 26th to Wed 28th: Compassion clinics at 3 different locations
Thurs 29th: Day with our sponsor children
Fri 30th Jan to Sun 1st Feb: weekend at Caipes clinic, Estancia, NE El Salvador
Mon 2nd Feb: fly to Cali, Colombia
Tues 3rd to Thurs 5th: clinics for children from Compassion projects in Cali
Fri 6th: clinic for elderly at Esperanza Vivir
Sat 7th: Clinic at FEDUT, Dan Eley’s partner project
Sun 8th: rest day
Mon 9th & Tues 10th: travel home
