Over the 5 days, the SALCET team treated patients from 11 different Compassion projects in the Cali region. They saw 324 patients in total; 255 were children and 69 adults and made 50 referrals. 7 were referred for blood and stool tests, 25 for optical problems, 6 for dental problems, 4 for hernia repairs, and 8 for other things (ENT, orthopaedic, gynae etc).
They saw 36 elderly people at Esperanza Vivir, 5 of whom were referred for eye problems, and they were delighted to receive the dyno bands and pulleys we brought out to help their physiotherapy. They are hoping to sort out the software package for them in due course.
