Dr Chris Jagger and Steve Snelling treated Santos Cipriano Lozano Gonzales two days after he was shot while travelling to work last Saturday.
Mr Gonzales, a 34-year-old construction worker, was preparing to begin his third day in a new job when an armed gang attempted to rob the passengers in the bus he was travelling in.
They opened fire when they recognised that one of the three passengers was a member of a rival gang.
Mr Gonzales was shot in the shin and the 35mm bullet fired by a pistol exited his calf. He attended the clinic held by SALCET in San Carlos on Monday.
