We have arrived safely in El Salvador after a 23 hour journey! An endoscope and a donation of medicines have been held up in customs but we are seeking a permit and hope to retrieve them on Monday.
The endoscopy teaching programme has had a successful first day and the rest of the team saw over 100 patients in a clinic in a poor area of San Salvador.
We are looking forward to the opening ceremony of the community house in San Carlos. More updates and some photos to follow soon,
